Welcome

My first published book, a mystery titled The Man Who Murdered God, fulfilled a childhood ambition to become an author. Since then I have written and published more than two dozen works of fiction and non-fiction. Some have been ghost-written or in partnership with the book’s subject. A few are listed here.

I now live in Southern Ontario with my wife Judy and until quite recently, an irascible cat McGuire, named after the hard-nosed detective in my mystery novels. McGuire died on the first day of spring, a contradiction for a cat who was so lively through most of his life and who welcomed the warm sun and a shady spot on the grass as much as any human I’ve known. His absence from my elbow has forced me to alter my writing style.
